The FREEdge

Free produce for anyone in need.

We are thrilled to announce our new community refrigerator. We're calling it the FREEdge. We've heard from many folks in the state that some of the hardest things to secure for folks experiencing food insecurity are fresh fruits and vegetables. We wanted to help meet this need in our community. That desire inspired the FREEdge.

Accessing the FREEdge

  • This food is FREE to anyone in need.

  • The FREEdge is open seven days a week at the Pope Memorial Library, No. Conway, NH during library hours (posted in the comments and on their website).

  • The FREEdge will be restocked with fresh produce from our market vendors by Wednesday mornings.

Support the FREEdge

So many people have asked how they can help. Thank you! You can make a donation to the program online, or in person at the Farmers’ Market on Tuesdays.

Made Possible By:

This program is made possible with grant support from Champions of New Hampshire Farms and NH Healthy Lives program. Without them, we would not have a FREEdge! And, thanks to our friends at the Pope Memorial Library, it has an easily accessible home in the library's lobby. Big hat tip to White Mountain Community Health Center for brainstorming this project and possible locations with us. Our Grass Roots Fund cohort friends at Kearsarge Food Hub inspired us with the idea.

Community makes so many good things happen.
